Japanese National Health Insurance only covers treatments or exams on where you have disease or problems. It does not cover anything preventive, aesthetic, or advanced. We can provide you self-pay treatments if you prefer to get better (lower risk) treatments. As a self-pay, we can spend more time on each patient, we can use better tools and materials.
If you feel like having another opinion on your treatment plans or treatments which you are getting from your current doctor, please do not hesitate to get the second opinion. When it comes to dental treatment, it involves drilling your teeth, extracting the nerve, and extracting your teeth. You cannot get back the drilled teeth, extracted nerve and teeth, so it is important for you to understand your situation, pros&cons of all the conceivable treatment plans before you actually get the treatments. It is ok to go back to your current doctor after getting second opinion and satisfying with the treatment plans.
Our second opinion consultation takes 45minutes. Doctor will consult your situation based on the information from your current doctor. We do not do any exam or taking X-ray at the second opinion consultation. We will arrange another appointment if exam is needed.
